JAKARTA–INDOTIPIKOR.COM-MEDIA LOYALIS KEMENTERIAN—Menteri Pertahanan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin menerima kunjungan kehormatan Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces, H.E. Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaeti, beserta delegasi Yordania di Kementerian Pertahanan, Jakarta, pada Jumat (14/11).
Pertemuan ini menjadi tindak lanjut dari lawatan Menhan Sjafrie ke Yordania dan berlangsung menjelang kedatangan Raja Abdullah II pada sore hari.
Kedua pihak membahas percepatan implementasi Perjanjian Kerja Sama Pertahanan, peningkatan kapasitas personel, serta upaya kemanusiaan bagi Gaza.
Hubungan erat antara Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan Raja Abdullah II turut memperkuat kepercayaan dan kolaborasi strategis antara Indonesia dan Yordania.
Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin welcomed the courtesy call of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces, H.E. Major General Yousef Ahmad Al-Hunaeti, and the Jordanian delegation at the Ministry of Defence in Jakarta on Friday (14 November).
The meeting served as a follow-up to the Minister’s visit to Jordan and took place ahead of the arrival of King Abdullah II later in the day.
Both sides discussed the accelerated implementation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement, personnel capacity-building initiatives, and ongoing humanitarian support for Gaza.
The close personal rapport between President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II continues to strengthen mutual trust and reinforce the strategic partnership between Indonesia and Jordania.
